I use it to charge BB 8900 (which requires MicroUSB charger) with a mini USB charger, and it works well.
I thought about just getting a bunch of new micro-usb car and travel adapters to replace the old mini-usb ones. The problem with that is then each car would need two because we still need the old one for an older BlackBerry. These adapters are great because they tether to the end of your existing chargers. You just pop it on or off depending on which connector you need.
I have order 4 of these adapters, and they work great, I can finally use all those old Motorola power adapters that I have lying around. I have a Blackberry Storm that this works with.
Product works great. Saved me from having to buy a new car charger when all I needed was this adapter.
This was great because didn't have to buy all new chargers when I upgraded from a Blackberry 8703E to a Blackberry Storm. It even has a tie that will attach it to the end of your charger cord so you can charge both types of devices from the same charger.
